Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd began her journey to combat sports at teenager age. She trained in boxing kickboxing wrestling, BJJ, and other sports before making her professional debut at 18, at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was able to continue building upon her triumph on the night of Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won three consecutive fights. She finished all of her competitors in the initial round. She then returned to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen won against Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 before taking on Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia was defeated by Aspen with a majority vote. This left a mark on the amateur record of Ladd. Ladd rebounded from her defeat, beating Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record to 8-1. Aspen was a professional when she entered the ranks in the year 2015. She joined Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta 11, she dominated Ana Carolina Vidal to score TKO victory in the opening round. Invicta Fc 16 marked her first bout as a Bantamweight. She beat Amanda Cooper with an armbar submission during the second round. Aspen dominated McGill by wrestling her to the ground and eventually defeated her in the third round TKO. Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, weighing weight of catchweight (138.1lb) As Ladd failed to meet weight. In spite of this, Aspen was able to beat Hoy. She won via TKO in the second-round. Invicta FC 21, she won her final fight with the promotion by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, against Lina Langsberg. She dominated Lina and ground-and-pounded her to score a second-round TKO victory. Then, in her third fight she beat Tonya Evinger even more impressively. Ladd beat Evinger with a punch during the first round and received a performance of the Night prize. Sijara Eubanks of Invicta FC was her opponent in an rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was Ladd's debut major fight. They fought in an intense fight which Ladd beat by a unanimous decision. The two fighters each received each the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within 16 seconds, breaking her streak of winning. She bounced back, and defeated Yana Kunitskaya in the third round on UFC at ESPN 7. She was replaced by was able to take on Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. Dumont was defeated in a unanimous decision.
